Re: Press/ Talk in Ventura CA

Chris and all,

One more thing (after an earlier private message to Chris), where I come
from, we all use overhead projectors. 35 mm slides are always a pain in
the neck to make work. Also harder to point at. Now that color printers
are cheap, and work well on film, I think that is the way to go. Then we
can just circulate .jpg files over the internet. They come out just fine
for a talk in a size that is not too hard to transmit. Just use a color
printer and transparency film. I can send you a nice group. Better still,
we can make a gallery for the web site, then someone giving a talk can just
download what he wants. I will work on this.

Someone with more experience than I with pictures might suggest a standard
format. I.e. scan items for a finished image size of xx kbytes??
