Michael asked if anyone else was going to San Diego. Unfortunately, I
have a 4m run that exactly coincides with the meeting. However, we are
still discussing here whether it might be possible to make the wide field
session since that is the day before the KPNO observing, so you might see me
there on Sunday.
If Glenn can pull out the difcal output for the GCVS matches I
gave for his master star list, then I'll be happy to prepare some phase
plots for the good matches, along with whatever published photometry I
can find.
I'm giving an invited (keynote?) talk at the IAPPP-CCD conference at
Lake Arrowhead CA in May, and intend to mention TASS. Therefore, I'd be
interested in a slide (preferably) or .jpg file of a typical camera
installation, such as what appeared in the S&T article. Another very
useful slide would be output from Tom's system, since he is working in
V,R,I...that is, a reasonably long strip scan that we can make a tricolor
image from. I'd be happy to do that processing if Tom can send me, say,
3 successive frames in each color on a night that he thinks everything
was working pretty well.
