re: Seeing Stars - Radio Programme

Hello,

For your information this programme is broadcast on the BBC World Service
so should be available on the other side of the 'Pond'
but probably on shortwave.

Details of times & frequencies can be found on the BBC web site as follows,
www.bbc.co.uk/worldservice/seeingstars/index.htm.

In Europe / America the time seems to be Tuesdays 17:30 GMT or Wednesday
12:30 GMT but check for details in your area. I would record it but it is
difficult to get a good signal in the UK !

I think the show is broadcast weekly but cannot find any details of the
TASS contribution in the schedules.

By the way the presenters name is Heather Couper - she has cowritten
several popular Astronomy books with Nigel Henbest. A search on the BBC
home page ( www.bbc.co.uk ) for Couper should give some details.
