Ah. Well, I sent a message in March saying that I had placed the full
variable star list on our web site
ftp://ftp.nofs.navy.mil/pub/outgoing/aah/tass/tassvar.cat
but maybe it didn't get copied to Michael's computer. This list contains
every known variable (plus a lot of suspected variables) in the +-5 degree
zone, with proper J2000 coordinates, and I'd recommend using it when
deciding whether a variable is new or already known.
The listing therein sez
36.50911215 -0.17841685 R Cet M 7.2 14. V 43768.
