I checked the tass web site, and found the latest equatorial variable
star catalog (what I called tassvar.cat) at
   http://www.tass-survey.org/tass/catalogs/tassvar.cat
so it looks like it was uploaded at some time.  Since you found an error
in the gcvs posting there, my suggestion to Michael R. is to remove or fix
the link to the Paczynski version of the gcvs posted there as it might have
other southern stars equally misplaced.
