Michael, thanks for posting the UBVRI/TASS cross references. I'll look at
them. The provided NSV1754 data is based on only two measurements, and I
notice immediately that the bright star at 73.3296, -3.4512 was matched
incorrectly by my program. Its true values are
V B-V V-R R-I
10.354 0.898 0.505 0.433
yielding
V I
10.354 9.416
which are in much better agreement with Glenn. The TASS star at
112.5093, -2.1341 was matched to two RU152 stars; the second match is
obviously the correct one. I don't know why the V910 Aql star at
305.7851, -1.6276 is in error; perhaps because it is at the extreme
northern edge of Glenn's scans.
It looks like I've gotta find more bright stars for the matching. These
data are just taken from variable star fields I've observed, and the
saturation level tends to be V~12-13, so it is hard to find good stars
for TASS!
