The last time I tried to do a perfornence test on Postgres I made
a mistake.  I made a test database so small that the whole thing
got cached in RAM.  I figured that out then I made a lager database but
one of the index files would fit in the system cache.  I don't think
the actual number of rows matters as long as the test "thrashes the
cache"
