[TASS] New nova in TASS data?
IAU Circular 7323 reports that a new nova has been discovered in Aquila
at
R.A. = 19h23m05s.38, Decl. = +4 57'20".1 (equinox 2000.0). At discovery on
Dec. 1.75 UT, it was already at visual magnitude 6.0 and has since risen to
brighter than 5.0. I wonder if Tom or any other TASS camera operators might
have a pre-discovery image in their data taken the last few nights? It's
fairly close to the equator if some Mark III's are not aligned exactly on
Decl. 0.0.
