Ted and all,
This must be a solved problem. All those astronomers out there already
have this problem so there must be programs out there that have worked this
out. The problme is probably adopting them to our particular situation and
putting them into our software control system. ;^)
I will do my part. In a few months I will be able to point a telescope at
the pole and everywhere in between and take data sets to work on.
