Tom and All,
         Remember that what you are looking at will be removed from regular
images when they are flat-fielded.  In other words these are defects that
can be corrected through software.  It seems to me this makes them less
critical.  But perhaps one of the experts would comment on that.

         If anyone else would like to see these images, I could upload them
to pub/incoming.  There are two, one for each camera.  Please let me know.
