I've kept quiet because I'm trying to get data reduced
and published before the Mark IV shows up.  My plans,
as mentioned before, will be to run Chris' Linux driver
and either develop or use someone's control program
under Linux.  Data reduction on this end will be iraf
under Linux, with my personal scripts to yield calibrated
starlists out the other end.  Images will be compressed
and stored on CD.  So there may be two pipelines under
Linux if someone wants to use a program other than iraf.
I leave for Europe Sept 29, and intend to have everything
working during September.  That depends on how well the
weather cooperates so that I can get all of the necessary
calibration tests done.
  So I will volunteer for the pipeline head for Linux/iraf
since I have a vested interest in seeing it done sooner
than later.
