Software

Looks like I have heard from almost everyone on the software. It is like
herding cats. I was hopeful that I could get several of you working
together so that each did not do everything in a different way. Two
pipelines would be nice for checking the data, but 7 or so are sort of
redundant. Oh well, that is life at tass. I hope there is one of you that
I can glom onto and copy the whole process. The impression that I get is
that the process is not so difficult that each of you cannot do it
solo. Else there would be more effort to get together.

I am busy making spares of everything so that I can go out to AZ with a
complete set. This is pretty well done. I have set up a big
table. Everything on the table goes to Arizona. Slowly it is filling up
with stuff. In the next couple of days I will take ARNE apart and bundle
up the pieces.

I am planning one more modification to my house. The plan is to expand the
little greenhouse at the end of my work room so I can put a Mark IV there
for test and look up at stars through a window. Not ideal for measurement,
but OK for testing everything. I should of made a better plan for testing
the Mark IVs. I am used to setting up electronic tests, and built the
stuff needed for that. But I did not think enough about the mechanical
testing.

BTW, my computer seems to be dying. Something about a bad long file
name. If I disappear for a few days that will be the reason.
