I just checked the POSS-I prints, and the correct orientation of this image is east top, north right. Center is roughly 18:54 -6:30 B1950. It contains M11, the Wild Duck Cluster, at the center top. The object that looks like a globular on the right hand edge is just a bright star with a halo caused by cirrus. Arne
