MICHAEL gets wet.
Sigh! I knew it would happen sooner or later. But this is really the
first time. I looked at the weather map and it looked like a clear spot
was moving in. So I uncovered TOM and MICHAEL and started them
running. After a while I noticed that MICHAEL had stopped reading out the
temperatures. After a couple of tries to restart the program, it would not
go. So I went out on the porch and looked. Sigh! it was quite wet. So
much for predicting the weather by looking at satellite pictures. Rain was
coming from something that was not really visible to the sattelite.
This morning I dried it off with a hair drier and at least got the Stamp
loop running. The temperatures are reading high, so this probably means
there is some crud on the board where it was wet. Next comes an alcohol
wash. I want to try to get it running for this evening which does look
clear. Too bad that I did not have the covers in place as they would have
given just enough protection. We shall see if it reads out reasonable
star pictures. Otherwise I will have to change a board.
