ON the memory to disk problem.

and have a look at the Apogee Instruments CCD camera drivers, about
half way down in Saturdays list.

The answer my well be to use at least part of this, or do a TASS
driver for the interface. This will also mean no nead for BillCapone
tax on you computer. You will need linux though, or RTlinux.

Linux runs my modem at 115Kbaud on a P100, for that would fix the
first problem too, given a siloed UART onboard, or as a plug-in.
