Flat Field of Lens

While copying disks, I have been looking at some of the images.  The I (I 
have not studied the V) looks quite flat to me.  This compared to what I 
saw on a camera lens where the edges were down by 50%.  I think ROTSE has 
seen similar loss off center with their camera lenses.

I cannot "see" any non-flatness.   There must be some.  I could not detect 
any on the flat cutting it with sections.  I could surely see 2%.  I have 
to conclude that Elliot did a good job.

This is a little project for someone to do on the disk 17 data when you get 
it.  Just use the sky to measure the lens flatness.
