Tom suggested a change, so here is a repeat of the
original message with the update.

In the hopes of finalizing this process, I am recommending
the following naming convention as a compromise.

   jjjjxxxc.fit
   
   jjjj   JD - 2450000
   xxx    exposure sequence number for the night,
            starting at 000 and ending at 999
   c      'camera' name
   
The camera name is A-Z plus 0-9 for a total of 36 cameras.
Each mount holds two cameras, typically V&I filtered, but
with the option of other filters.  As Tom finishes each system,
the camera/telescope combinations will be 'named'.  Current names:
        A  TOM V
        B  TOM I
        C  ARNE V
        D  ARNE I
        E  MICHAEL V
        F  MICHAEL I
        G  MIKE V
        H  MIKE I
        I  TOM2 V
        J  TOM2 I
        K  GLENN V
        L  GLENN I
This uniquely identifies both site and filter within the 8x3 format.
It only allows for 18 sites, but it may be a while before Tom gets
that far. :-)
