You don't say what problems you had.  Were the
problems with cygwin or with Michael's software
You don't say.  

I have a machine on the Internet with IRAF installed
on it.  If someone wanted an account on it I could
set one up so they could run the software and learn
something about it and "play" with real image data
without having to set up a system.  I could keep a
few of Toms CD's on it too.  

Some software would be required at the user's end
and cygwin would be one good option.  Window's
"hyper termial" would woork too but it is quite
primitve and suports only a text interface.  With
a cable or DSL line remote access works well.  I
tested with a modem too.  It was workable but you
need something else to do at the same time.

I'll be out the whole weekend but could get to it
erly next week.
