If you got the whole tree you can reduce the size by almost half.
Both the "all in one file" and the "split" versions are there.
I'd say go into each of the .../split directories and do an "rm *"
The split files are byte per byte identical with the larger
"all in one file" So maybe it will fit on one CD.
Dave Mills' two disk set may save some people some time. Put for
his $80 price I'll RTFM. It only times about 15 minutes Also the
Folks who write and support IRAF are very helpfull. I even had
one of them call my from his hotel room once and then log onto my
system via modem so he could see the bug I found first hand. Try
getting that level of support anywhere else.
