RE: quick note on DS23 positions



I'm working on a FITS writer that scoops up the image header
while (hopefuly) the images are still around.  I like the idea
of combining some numbers of frames into one star list.  Tom's
"collected.big" is a good model.  It needs two more things

1) a "Frame Number" column

2) A second table appended to the file that contains
one line per image with a column for each image header keyword.
Yes, it will be a wide table.

The tools built around this FITS table that we will need are

1) A converter.  Takes th output of a pipeline and writes it
using TASS conventions

2) A dumper. Converts FITS to plain text.

3) Database importer.  We will outgrow using files
soon
