  John mentioned some catalogs he'd like to have around on a CD.
I can't make lots of CDs, but I can perhaps help.

  Each data file has an associated README file which describes
the format of the data.  The MSC_5X readme catalog refers to the
individually zone files, which I merged into "msc_5x.dat".

  Sorry about not including the 2MASS catalog you suggested, but
it wasn't easily available.
