RE: Stamp commands?
I've got quit a bit done, but no way to test. (I'm operating in a Win2K
environment, with ActivePerl, but no camera to talk to. The versions of
qbasic that I've found won't work in Win2K, unless I've got something
corrupted.)
I'm desk-checking my translation and running simulations (Instead of sending
to the camera, I print to screen, then manually input a response, and see if
it does what I expect.)
At this point, it mostly looks like BASIC that'll satisfy the perl
interpreter, to simplify my debugging. Then I'll streamline the perl. I
keep looking at the TK libraries, but haven't put them in yet.
I'm working from f20.bas and cross-checking against version B.0 of the "Mark
IV B Software for the BASIC Stamp Computer", Date 980325, rev 981204.

Richard,
You're converting it to perl? How far along are you? I have a perl module
which has the base communication and simple commands (read DAC, etc),
derived from Michael R.'s tait. Maybe we could combine our efforts, if you
are not done yet.
