RE: Requesting alignment tips for ROB...

Thank you Michael and Tom for your instructions.

Currently, ROB is too close to my house to see the equator (actually, ROB is
in the garage today, but that's different), and ROB's next temporary
location will probably suffer from the same problem. I need more cable
length to get to the next location, so probably next week or so.

I guess I'll muddle around with my Polar alignment in the mean time. I'll
get there eventually.

ROB's in the garage as I'm making some mount adjustments so I can use 1/4"
20TPI screws to help with alignment. If it works, I'll write something up.
My only current concern is having 1/8" aluminum which I've tapped be able to
support the weight of the scope (I've added more 1.5" angle to ROB, keeping
the original equipment un-modified). I will add a small steel plate if
required.

And Tom, no, I have not had clear skies, but after getting some snow, we
probably will, especially since ROB isn't outside...

Cheers,
Rob
