About as bright as they come in the far IR.
Look at the IRAS maps to see what the sky looks like at your resolution.
   As I suggested, such cloud detectors work well with
certain types of clouds; I bet there is a huge difference
between cirrus and cumulus for example.  Sounds like you
have some experimentation to do!
