Sorry, I read Michael R's reply first and replied to it.
OK, the - Dec is obviously garbage and should be cut from the final data
base. The +92 images were my way of getting around the memory board
problem so that I could get the data I really wanted near the pole. They
are junk and did not make it to the output.
I have fixed it now, but the reason for taking images at +92 (other than to
test if Michael R. did something heroic to make the transformation) was a
forgetful memory board. (DS9 appears to do the right thing with these
images. ;^) )
If I did not read the board out in a few seconds, then it forgot. The last
image taken is not read from the memory board to the disk until the
telescope gets down to its home position. Most of the time it is
overlapped with the next exposure which starts immediately after the CCD
image is transferred into the memory board. In the case of the exposure at
the highest elevation, the exposure does not start until the telescope
returns to the lowest dec position. This takes many seconds compared to
the normal sequence.
How about just testing the photometry and astrometry by looking stars up in
VizieR?

Yea! This is great. So how good is this data? Obviously the - Dec. value
needs to be eliminated. But how about the rest???
Believe me, I have my hands full doing other things. Besides I am ill
suited to doing this sort of analysis. So it is my hope that one of you
will have a go at validating the data. Again, I will bet another Nickel
that it is either pretty astrometry, or really bad. And that it will be
easy to tell the difference.
