It depends on your DSL supplier, as some (especially in the UK)
specifically prohibit inbound services unless you pay extra.
Saying that, Draytek make a nice set of firewall routers that also
supports dynamic dns servers over DSL & ISDN, so you can hook up your
entire network very easily.
I'm using their Vigor 2600W which supports both ADSL & ISDN as well as
10/100Mb + 11Mb wireless (I'm using ISDN as I'm way over the distance
limit for DSL), but enables me to use any machine here to connect.
