A matter of preference, I think. I just tried display and it is very
nice. There are so many things to learn about that are lurking in one's
linux distribution. But gimp gives you a file list and if you are using a
mouse then you can just click on a selected file instead of typing in 16
characters for an image file name. It usually takes me several tries to
get such a name right, while a mouse click seldom goes wrong.
