RE: cfitsio



Chris and all,

For one, I had to install f77.  I may not have gotten everything needed. 
But after I did this I quit getting error messages on the ./configure

However, Robs installation has two files in /lib after ./configure these are:
libcfitsio.a
libcfitsio.so

I just have one after./configure:
libcfitsio.a

Then everything seems to work.  But when I install downfits it says "woops
you do not seem to have libcfitsio installed.
