Just Keeping in Touch

September produced 23 Million measurement lines.  October so far (3
days) has produced 7 Million lines.  It is always a struggle to keep
things going.  tom1 died.  The I camera was junk and the V camera
shutter was hanging.  It is surprising that a hung open shutter still
produces pretty good looking data.  Just some streaks by the bright
stars.  Dan spent the morning cleaning and polishing the framistat and
now everything seems to be working.  Here is hoping for a few clear days
at the end of October.
